The Trinidad Triggers outdone by Casey and the Las Vegas Train Robbers 7-5


Shane Casey drove in three runs, helping the Las Vegas Train Robbers (7-14) to a 7-5 victory over the Trinidad Triggers (9-9) on Tuesday at Central Park. He homered in the third inning.

Ben Baker racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Trinidad Triggers. He singled in the second and fifth innings.

Ryan Ward recorded the win for the Las Vegas Train Robbers even though he allowed five runs over six innings. Ward struck out four, walked three and gave up nine hits.

Eric Cordova ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked three and struck out four.
