July 16 2019 The Santa Fe Fuego defeated the Trinidad Triggers 2-1 in a seven-inning game. Santa Fe finished with six hits and no errors while Trinidad collected four hits and also played errorless baseball.
Trinidad took a 1-0 lead in the second inning, but Santa Fe answered with one run in the third and another in the fourth to take the lead. Troy Maslowski went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Fuego, while Kyle Butler added two hits. Santa Fe also received a hit from Jose Camacho and Brett Elmer.
Ross Mintzer earned the win for Santa Fe with a complete seven-inning effort. He allowed four hits and one run, one earned, while walking two and striking out six. Mintzer threw 95 pitches with 58 strikes.
Keaton Conner took the loss for Trinidad despite allowing only one earned run. He surrendered six hits and two runs in seven innings, walked three and struck out five on 107 pitches.
