July 6 2019 The Santa Fe Fuego defeated the Trinidad Triggers 10-7 after scoring seven runs in the second inning and adding single runs in the fifth and sixth. Trinidad scored three times in the third before rallying for two runs in each of the final two innings, but Santa Fe held on for the victory.
Jose Camacho led the Fuego offense by going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. B. Dansereau added three hits, including two doubles, with two runs and an RBI, while Rick Phillips also collected three hits. Troy Maslowski contributed a home run and two RBIs for Santa Fe, which finished with 13 hits.
Alex Merithew earned the win after allowing 11 hits and seven earned runs in six innings. He walked four and struck out six. Nicholas Dorcean took the loss for Trinidad, surrendering 13 hits and 10 runs, nine earned, in 5.2 innings while walking six and striking out three. N. Shumpert paced the Triggers with three hits and two RBIs, and Cole Fenner hit a solo home run.
