June 1 2019 The Trinidad Triggers scored 10 runs over the second and third innings and went on to defeat the Garden City Wind 14-6. Trinidad collected 13 hits while Garden City finished with five hits and committed three errors.
Trinidad broke through with two runs in the second inning before erupting for eight in the third. The Triggers added four runs in the sixth, while Garden City scored once in the fourth and sixth innings before producing two runs in the seventh and one in each of the final two innings.
Matt Eureste led Trinidad with two hits, including a home run, three RBI and two runs scored. Abel Arocho also homered and drove in three runs while scoring three times. Jonathan Bigley had two hits and two RBI, and Nick Stoll contributed two hits, an RBI and two runs. Scott Stetson added an RBI and scored once.
Jacob Cobb-Adams earned the win for Trinidad after allowing three hits and four runs three earned in seven innings. He walked three and struck out seven. C. Strayer worked the final two innings, allowing two hits and two unearned runs while striking out three. Garden City's Zack Kammerman took the loss after surrendering 10 runs one earned on nine hits in four innings.
