June 18 2018 The Trinidad Triggers overcame a 16-17 deficit with a six-run seventh inning and a six-run eighth to defeat the Santa Fe Fuego 17-16. Trinidad finished with 13 hits while Santa Fe collected 14. Both teams committed two errors.
Nick Stoll led Trinidad with four hits and three runs. Bronson Butcher went 2-for-5 with four RBI and three runs, while Tim Henry drove in five runs and hit a home run. Joba Ferrell added two doubles, two runs and three RBI, and Abel Arocho reached base five times with two hits, two runs and two RBI.
Santa Fe received three hits and two RBI from Donny Ortiz Jr. Ethan Estes had one hit, four walks and three RBI, while Mike Annone went 3-for-5 with three RBI and hit a home run. Jackson Webb and Dan Pellinen each contributed two RBI.
