The Pecos League has announced that Amanda Lauger will serve as the team's new General Manager as the organization prepares for its 15th season of professional baseball in Trinidad.

Lauger is no stranger to the Triggers organization and brings several years of experience with the team into her new position. She served as the Triggers' Director of Concessions during the 2024 and 2025 seasons before moving into a larger role with the organization in 2026.

During the 2026 season, Lauger served as Assistant General Manager under longtime Trinidad Triggers General Manager Kim Schultz. Working alongside Schultz gave Lauger experience with the day-to-day operations of the organization and helped prepare her to take over the General Manager position as the Triggers move into the 2027 season.

"Kim recommended me as the new general manager for the 2027 season as she is stepping down," Lauger said. "After careful consideration, I would be glad to be the general manager and continue to build on the success established in 2026."

Lauger's promotion provides continuity for the Triggers as Schultz steps away from the General Manager position. After working in concessions for two seasons and serving as Assistant General Manager in 2026, Lauger is already familiar with the organization, its fans, game-day operations and the unique atmosphere surrounding Triggers baseball in Trinidad.

The 2027 season will mark the 15th season of Trinidad Triggers baseball. Since joining the Pecos League, the Triggers have become one of the league's longest-running franchises and have established a strong tradition of professional baseball in southern Colorado.

The Trinidad Triggers will begin their 2027 season on May 28, with Lauger leading the organization's front office as General Manager for the first time.
